Description

Yunnan Province is a key link for the national strategy “Belt and Road Initiative”. It has huge market space for modern logistics industry. Chuxiong Prefecture has evident location advantages and sound traffic conditions. Several advantageous industries are gathered at the Container Logistics and Agricultural and Sideline Products Check and Acceptance Port and developed as per the principle of “led by the government and supervised by the economic development zone with enterprise cooperation”. Relying on its important traffic location, the location, agricultural industry and commercial service industry advantages of Chuxiong City are organically and optimally combined to build this project as a top-notch agricultural product logistics center and check port in the southwest of China.

Content

Project orientation: to build a agricultural product logistics center and check port in the southwest of China integrating railway logistics, highway logistics, combined transport logistics, centralized warehouse, distribution and port services.

Construction content: land area of 2,500 mu and floor area of 1,222,000 m2; including 6 functional blocks such as public warehouse block, railway logistics block, highway-railway combined transport logistics block, distribution block, port services block and auxiliary supporting block.

Construction duration: 3 years.

Supporting Conditions

Early preparations:

Currently, the Cangling Industrial Park has an overall planning area of 53.9 km2 where Yundian Block covers 39.82 and Zhiming Block 14.08. Among the said area, the land available for construction is 27 km2. The permanent forest land of 2,215 mu has been obtained and land of 3,188 mu has been acquired for 11 projects which involve a total investment of RMB 600 million. The construction land with the selectable range for this project has been acquired and reserved with good conditions and adequacy. “Three supplies and one leveling” have been basically achieved.

On the whole, the risks of this project are of common degrees and controllable.

Cooperation Pattern

This Project of Chuxiong Prefecture will be built as per the principle of “led by the government and supervised by the economic development zone with enterprise cooperation” by several specialized logistics enterprises jointly. The independent operation and PPP model will be combined. The administrative office and port service area will be jointly developed by means of PPP model, i.e., constructed by enterprises, rented by the government and operated by the government. Other areas will be developed by invested enterprises and subject to the supervision of Chuxiong Economic Development Zone.
