Description

The equipment manufacturing in Honghe Prefecture is to be developed. The New Energy Heavy Truck Project with the annual output 50000 trucks built in Honghe Comprehensive Bonded Zone will fulfill the zero breakthrough in equipment manufacturing and will promote the transformation and upgrading of the industrial structure and the local economic development. Liquefied natural gas is the fuel for new energy heavy truck of this project which can replace the traditional fuel – gasoline. In this way, the energy conservation and environment protection can be realized and nearly 30% of the production and transportation costs can be lowered.

Content

Construction scale: The planned overall floor area of this project is 188498.2 m2; the comprehensive floor area ratio is 0.77. Detailed construction includes press shop, welding shop, painting shop, assembly shop, warehouse of parts and components, open-parking ground, comprehensive office building life service area, gas station and public facilities. After this project is completed, the production scale with the annual output of 10,000 new energy trucks, 15,000 new energy dump trucks and 25,000 new energy tow tractors will be formed.

Supporting Conditions

Honghe Prefecture located in the combining part of two markets of ASEAN and at the intersection of Kunming and Hanoi. It is an important gateway of China to Southeast Asian countries through land route. Honghe Comprehensive Bonded Zone is located in the core area of central city group in central city - Mengzi City. It is the leading edge of the center of South Asia and Southeast Asia to which Yunnan radiates. The planned overall area is 3.29 km2. The plan is “one center, three axes and nine zones”. “One center”: public service center including facilities for custom, relevant administrative office and enterprise office; “three axes”: east – west and north – south industry development axes formed by three specific main roads; “nine zones”: bonded logistics area, two comprehensive industry areas, two logistics processing areas and three processing and manufacturing areas. The controlled detailed planning for Honghe Comprehensive Bonded Zone has been approved and "five supplies and one leveling" have been realized for the surveillance zone of 1.97 km2 ofPhase I. Market Prediction (Analysis)

The coal accounts for a large part of the energy structure while the natural gas accounts for a small part. In 2014, the proportion of natural gas in the structure of energy consumption was 6.2% which was far below the world average level of 24.0%. There is great space for improvement of energy structure in the future. The natural gas automobile industry in our country develops quickly. In 2014, the natural gas automobile ownership was 4,595,000 and the number of gas stations was 6,955. Both of them ranked the first in the world. By 2020, the natural gas automobile ownership is expected to reach 10,500,000~11,000,000, wherein the LNG automobile ownership will reach 400,000~500,000 accounting for over 5% of the national automobile ownership; the number of LNG fueling stations will reach 4500~5000. It is predicted that the demand for heavy trucks will be basically kept in the amount of 550,000 per year at the preliminary stage of the 13th Five-Year Plan. Profit Model and Preliminary Benefit Analysis

Economic benefits: After this project reaches the design capacity, annual sales revenue of new energy heavy truck products can reach RMB 19,550,000,000 with the corporate income tax of RMB 340,461,000, and annual net profit of RMB 1,021,384,000 and the payback period is 8.7 years (including 6 years of construction period).

Social benefits: The construction of this project will promote the development of automobile industry in Honghe Prefecture and increase government tax revenue and job opportunities and reduce environmental pollution

Risk Analysis

Because the macro economy has suffered great downward pressure, there are a risk of reduction in the demand for heavy trucks and the financial risk of high financing cost due to the great investment in projects
